Course Description

This course provides the skills and techniques that are required to administrator the Meridian 1 range of switches

Length: 5 days

Intended Audience

This course is aimed at administration, installation, maintenance and support staff that will have an involvement with Options 51C, 61C, and 81C.

Prerequisite Courses:

25046B Meridian 1 PBX Core Technology,

25006B Meridian 1 PBX Large Switch Installation & Maintenance or

85616 Meridian 1 Fundamentals Fast Track

Objectives

• Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
• Develop customer numbering plan
• Locate vacant DN s and TN s
• Program, change, move and a telset database
• Program hunt chains
• Program a limited access terminal
• Program access restrictions on system, customer and user level
• Program Attendant console features
• Program Telset features including speed call, call park, flexible feature codes and calling party name display
• Obtain status of telephones
• Program Call forward
• Execute data dump
